Loyola School Jamshedpur Students Spread Joy Through Community Outreach

Plus-Two Students Connect with Underprivileged in Heartwarming Initiative

Loyola’s outreach program engages 400 students in acts of kindness, fostering empathy and social responsibility among youth while touching lives across communities.

JAMSHEDPUR – Loyola School’s plus-two students embarked on a mission of compassion, visiting various institutions and remote villages to spread joy and support the less fortunate.

The school’s commitment to holistic education took a practical turn as students engaged in meaningful interactions with diverse communities.

Standard 11 students brightened the day for residents of Old Age Homes and children at institutions like the School of Hope and Nirmal Hriday Missionaries of Charity.

Meanwhile, Class 12 students ventured to remote village schools, bringing educational experiences and resources to underserved areas.

"It was eye-opening to see how a simple act of kindness can make such a difference," shared Priya Sharma, a participating student.

The outreach activities ranged from organizing quizzes and games to hosting painting competitions, fostering creativity and collaboration.

Students distributed stationery and sports equipment, while also participating in shared meals with their hosts, creating bonds of friendship.

"This experience has taught us the true value of education and the importance of giving back," reflected Rahul Mehta, another student volunteer.

The initiative not only benefited the recipients but also instilled a sense of gratitude and social responsibility in Loyola’s students.

As the day concluded, the echoes of Mahatma Gandhi’s wisdom resonated: "We make a living by what we get; we make a life by what we give."
