Burglars Strike Unoccupied Home in Parsudih

Thieves loot jewelry and valuables worth lakhs from vacant house

Homeowner shocked to find residence ransacked upon return, police launch investigation.

JAMSHEDPUR – The local security measures are called into question after a daring burglary occurs at a residence on Haludbani Juhi Road.

The Parsudih residence of Lakhi Das, the property owner, was burglarized upon her return after a protracted absence.

According to reports, the thieves obtained entry by means of a forced entry at the rear of the building.

"I am in a state of complete despair." Das, visibly rattled by the incident, lamented, "My family heirlooms and precious possessions are gone."

The culprits are believed to have specifically targeted a cupboard that contained high-value objects, according to investigators.

The stolen items, which include jewelry and high-end appliances, are estimated to be worth several lakhs.

"This incident has left us all feeling vulnerable," stated an anonymous neighbor. Enhanced police patrols are required in the vicinity.

Das had last visited the property for routine maintenance during the Lok Sabha elections.

The Parsudih police have initiated their investigation by gathering evidence from the crime site.

At present, there is no official statement from the authorities regarding the ongoing investigation.

Residents are advocating for an increase in security measures to prevent future incidents as the community confronts this brazen larceny.
