Soren Meets President, PM, and Other Leaders During Visit

Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, accompanied by his wife Kalpana Soren, is currently in New Delhi, where he met with several key political leaders.

RANCHI – Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, along with his MLA wife Kalpana Soren, is in New Delhi for a series of meetings with prominent political leaders.

The Sorens first met former Congress President Sonia Gandhi and later Arvind Kejriwal’s wife.

On Monday, they met President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan, where they honored the President.

Prior to this, Chief Minister Soren also met Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a half-hour discussion.

Soren presented Modi with a bouquet of flowers, and both were seen wearing pink, with Modi in a pink tunic and Soren with a pink scarf, which some have noted as symbolic.

Regarding the political implications of these meetings, Chief Minister Soren clarified, “These are courtesy meetings after becoming the Chief Minister for the third time, with no political agenda involved.”

He added that his newly grown mustache and beard were also noted by Prime Minister Modi during their meeting.

Discussions during the meetings covered various issues, but no political decisions were made.
