Officer reviews pending cases and directs focus on drug prevention efforts.

GAMHARIA – The newly appointed Superintendent of Police for Seraikela district, Mukesh Kumar Lunayat, made a surprise visit to the Kandra police station on Wednesday.

"During the visit," Lunayat stated, "our main focus is on delivering policing services that are friendly, responsible, and prompt, with the aim of bridging the gap between the public and the police."

Officers present at the police station provided the SP with geographical information about their jurisdiction.

Lunayat’s main goal was to ensure that the entire district was free from crime.

"Our goal is to reduce crime, make sure crimes are detected quickly, and resolve any pending cases," the Superintendent of Police (SP) added.

The inspection involved examining crime control measures, the quality of investigations, and the maintenance of law and order.

Lunayat has issued directives to prevent the illegal drug trade and to execute pending warrants and attachments.

This unexpected visit highlights the new SP’s dedication to being actively involved in leading and engaging with the community.

It’s important to prioritize community-friendly policing in order to build public trust in law enforcement.

Under the new leadership, residents of Seraikela can look forward to seeing more police officers on the streets and experiencing a higher level of promptness in their responses.
