SERAIKELA – Mukesh Kumar Lunayat, the newly appointed SP of Seraikela-Kharsawan district, conducted surprise inspections of Kuchai and Kharsawan police stations on Tuesday, creating a buzz in the police department.
The SP first gathered geographical information about the police station areas from the officers and personnel present.
He then conducted a detailed review of crime control measures, quality of investigations, maintenance of law and order, monitoring of Naxal activities, prevention of illegal drug trafficking, and execution of pending cases, warrants, and proclamations.
SP Lunayat issued necessary directives during the inspection.
The SP firmly instructed the officers and police personnel present that any negligence in handling cases would not be tolerated.
He warned that personnel displaying misconduct towards complainants would face strict action.
