A high-speed collision between a Scorpio and a parked trailer on Marine Drive in Jamshedpur’s Sonari area left five individuals injured, with one in critical condition.
JAMSHEDPUR – In a severe accident on Marine Drive in the Sonari police station area, a Scorpio collided with a parked trailer, resulting in injuries to five individuals.
The injured were promptly admitted to Tata Main Hospital (TMH) for treatment.
The injured include Bhishan Layak, Bharat Mahato, Uttam Layak, and Rakhohari Mahato.
One of the five is reported to be in critical condition.
Eyewitnesses reported that the victims appeared to be under the influence of alcohol.
The trailer was stationary on Marine Drive when the Scorpio, traveling at high speed, crashed into it.
The collision caused immediate commotion, with screams heard from the vehicle.
Passersby and local residents quickly came to the aid of the injured, helping to extract them from the wreckage.
The police arrived at the scene shortly after being notified and facilitated the transport of the injured to TMH.
The incident underscores the dangers of high-speed driving and driving under the influence.
