Jharkhand Congress Leaders Discuss Political Strategy with National President

State Party Reviews Lok Sabha Election Performance and Prepares for Assembly Polls

Senior leaders of the Jharkhand Congress, including State President Rajesh Thakur, recently met with Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge under the guidance of Jharkhand in-charge Ghulam Ahmed Mir to discuss the political scenario in the state.

JAMSHEDPUR – In a strategic meeting, Jharkhand Congress leaders, led by State President Rajesh Thakur and Jharkhand in-charge Ghulam Ahmed Mir, conferred with Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge to address the current political climate and review the results of the recent Lok Sabha elections in Jharkhand.

During the discussion, the leaders informed Kharge about a scheduled review meeting on June 12, aimed at evaluating the party’s performance in the parliamentary polls, focusing on both successes and setbacks.

They highlighted that preparations for the upcoming assembly elections are already underway, with a goal to achieve better results.

Ghulam Ahmed Mir provided a comprehensive analysis of each Lok Sabha seat’s situation during the elections, noting that while the party performed better than in previous years, it did not achieve the anticipated success.

Mir emphasized that the June 12 meeting would involve a detailed review of the factors contributing to both victories and defeats, aiming to identify areas needing improvement.

He reassured Kharge that the party’s organizational efforts have been intensified following the Lok Sabha election results to ensure readiness for the assembly elections in Jharkhand.

State Congress President Rajesh Thakur expressed his appreciation to the public for their support, which contributed to the party’s achievements in the Lok Sabha elections.

He committed to continuing the efforts to achieve even better results in the future.

Thakur also highlighted the coalition government’s initiatives to improve the living standards in Jharkhand, despite challenging circumstances, by fulfilling promises from the manifesto, such as the Sarna Dharma Code, OBC reservation, job creation, loan waivers for farmers, and the reinstatement of the old pension scheme.

However, Thakur noted that some bills are still pending at the central government level, and the party will continue to address these issues.

He assured that the Congress would present new and significant issues concerning Jharkhand to the public.
