Governor and CM Pay Tribute on Dharti Aaba Bhagwan Birsa Munda’s Death Anniversary

Governor Radhakrishnan and CM Soren Honor Birsa Munda, Congratulate PM Modi

Today marks the death anniversary of Dharti Aaba Bhagwan Birsa Munda, with Governor CP Radhakrishnan and Chief Minister Champai Soren paying tribute at his statue in Ranchi.

RANCHI – On the death anniversary of Dharti Aaba Bhagwan Birsa Munda, Governor CP Radhakrishnan and Chief Minister Champai Soren paid their respects by garlanding his statue at the old jail turn in Ranchi.

Governor CP Radhakrishnan praised Birsa Munda, stating that despite sacrificing his life at the young age of 25, Birsa Munda continues to live in the hearts of the people.

The Governor also congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his third term, noting that the public’s faith in Modi stems from their expectations for development and poverty eradication.

Chief Minister Champai Soren, while honoring Birsa Munda, highlighted his fight against imperialism and his efforts to protect water, forest, and land rights for tribals.

Soren emphasized that Birsa Munda’s teachings continue to guide people today, particularly in enacting protective laws like CNT and SPT.

Soren also congratulated Prime Minister Modi, expressing hope that he will address the specific issues faced by the people of Jharkhand.

Following the tribute at the old jail, both the Governor and Chief Minister proceeded to the Samadhi Sthal of Birsa Munda in Kokar to offer floral tributes.
