Four Two-Wheelers Burnt in Bistupur Area Incident
Anti-social elements set fire to vehicles parked outside a hotel in the Bistupur area, resulting in four two-wheelers being completely burnt.
JAMSHEDPUR – Late on Friday evening, anti-social elements set fire to vehicles parked outside a hotel behind the Gurudwara in the Bistupur police station area of Jamshedpur.
The fire quickly engulfed two-wheelers in the parking lot, with flames rising so high that local residents had to use fire equipment from a nearby building to try to control the blaze.
The police were notified, but by the time they arrived, the vehicles were already burnt to ashes.
In this incident, two bikes, including a scooty belonging to Ajit Singh and a bike owned by Shubham, were completely destroyed.
Ajit Singh, who works at Chola Mandalam, reported that he was in a meeting at the office when the incident occurred.
Upon receiving information about the fire, people began removing their vehicles, but four vehicles were already caught in the flames.
Ajit recounted that four youths had approached the building guard asking for a matchstick to smoke cigarettes, during which they also set the vehicles on fire.
Residents managed to extinguish the fire before the Bistupur police arrived at the scene.
Currently, the police are investigating the matter to identify and apprehend the culprits.
"This incident highlights the need for increased security measures in public parking areas," said a local resident.
The community is now on high alert, hoping for a swift resolution to the case.
