Three-Year Term for Sharma at SDU Announced by Chancellor
Prabhat Sharma appointed to SDU’s Governing Body for three years, aiming to enhance university operations and leadership.
JAMSHEDPUR – Prabhat Sharma has been named a member of the Governing Body of Sona Devi University (SDU), Ghatsila, East Singhbhum.
This appointment, effective for three years, was made by Prabhakar Singh, Chancellor of SDU, under Section 22 of the Sona Devi University Act, 2022 (Jharkhand Act No. 05, 2023).
Sharma, a resident of Vijaya Garden, Baridih, is expected to leverage his expertise to support and guide the university’s operations.
The official announcement was made by Prof. (Dr.) Gulab Singh Azad, Registrar of SDU, who expressed confidence in Sharma’s potential to positively influence the institution’s governance.
This appointment is part of SDU’s broader initiative to strengthen its leadership and improve its educational services.
Sharma’s role will be pivotal in aligning the university’s operations with the SDU Act, 2022, and ensuring effective management.
