Union Minister Rameswar Teli Criticizes INDIA Alliance Over Corruption and GST Reluctance

Minister Highlights Need for Uniform Fuel Prices and Accuses State Governments of Corruption

Union Minister Rameswar Teli has expressed concerns over corruption in the Indi alliance and the reluctance of some states to include petrol and diesel under the GST framework.

JAMSHEDPUR – During his visit to Jamshedpur, Union Minister of State for Petroleum, Natural Gas, and Labor and Employment, Rameswar Teli, criticized the Indi alliance for alleged corruption and reluctance to support the inclusion of petrol and diesel under GST.

Teli pointed out the disparities in fuel prices across states due to different VAT taxes.

He emphasized Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision to standardize fuel prices nationwide by integrating petroleum products into the GST system.

Despite the central government’s efforts to reduce excise duty on petrol, Teli noted that some states, including Jharkhand, have not reduced their taxes accordingly.

Teli accused the Indi alliance of avoiding accountability for corruption and shielding wrongdoers for political gain.

He specifically targeted the JMM-Congress and RJD governments in Jharkhand, alleging widespread corruption damaging the state’s reputation.

Teli asserted that the BJP-NDA, under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, would win all 14 seats in Jharkhand, including Jamshedpur.

He mentioned that Bidyut Baran Mahato is poised to win for the third consecutive time with increased voter support.

The statement was made in the presence of former Chhattisgarh Assembly Speaker Dharamlal Kaushik, BJP Jamshedpur Mahanagar President Sudhanshu Ojha, and other political figures.
