Bidyut Baran Mahato Engages with Jamshedpur Business Community

BJP Candidate Pledges Industrial Development and Infrastructure Improvements

Jamshedpur MP and BJP candidate Bidyut Baran Mahato held a direct interaction with businessmen and entrepreneurs at Chamber Bhavan on Tuesday, outlining his vision for the city’s industrial and infrastructural development.

JAMSHEDPUR – Bidyut Baran Mahato, the BJP candidate for the Jamshedpur Lok Sabha seat, engaged in a direct interaction with the city’s business community at Chamber Bhavan on Tuesday.

During the meeting, Mahato discussed his commitment to the future industrial development of Jamshedpur and the steps he plans to take post-elections.

Chamber’s Honorary General Secretary Manav Kedia informed that all chamber members emphasized increasing voter turnout in the Jamshedpur Lok Sabha elections.

President Vijay Anand Moonka voiced concerns over Jamshedpur’s stalled development, citing the lack of an airport as a major issue.

Moonka highlighted the need for advanced medical facilities and hospitals and called for initiatives to ensure the safety of traders.

The chamber presented various demands, including the establishment of large industrial institutes, government undertakings in Jamshedpur, higher educational institutions, and a direct rail service from Tatanagar to Jaipur.

In his address, Mahato stated that constructing Dhalbhum Airport is essential for the region’s development.

He noted that the Central Government had allocated Rs 100 crore for the project, but work halted because the State Government declared the area a Wildlife Area and did not provide the necessary NOC.

Mahato assured that if the BJP forms the government at both the Center and the state, airport construction would resume immediately.

He also emphasized his priority to construct an elevated corridor and widen all major roads in the city.

Mahato pointed out that funds from the Center for development and roads are continuously sent but land acquisition issues by the state government impede progress.

He pledged to prioritize completing these works post-elections.

Former chamber president Murlidhar Kedia urged the selection of a candidate who would effectively represent their issues in Parliament.

Former president GR Golchha also addressed the members.

The meeting saw the presence of Vice President Anil Modi, Abhishek Aggarwal Goldy, Puneet Kanwatia, Advocate Rajeev Aggarwal, Secretary Anshul Ringsia, Suresh Sharma Lipu, Binod Sharma, Treasurer Anil Ringsia, Raj Parikh, Smita Parikh, Suman Nagelia, Shivprakash Sharma, Chhitarmal Dhoot, Virendra Moonka, Vimal Agarwal, Radheshyam Agarwal, Satish Singh, Sunil Bagrodia, CA Jagdish Khandelwal, Rajesh Agarwal, Purushottam Agarwal, and many members from various business organizations.
