National Technology Day 2024: CSIR-NML Inspires Young Innovators With Strategies for Growth

CSIR-NML celebrated National Technology Day 2024, highlighting India’s advancements in science and tech.

The event featured an inspiring lecture by Tata Steel’s Dr. Bhattacharjee on innovation, business models, and sustainable growth.

JAMSHEDPUR – CSIR-NML commemorated National Technology Day 2024, celebrating India’s science and technological strides.

The event included a keynote by Dr. Debashish Bhattacharjee, VP of Tata Steel’s R&D, on inspiring young innovators.

Dr. Sandip Ghosh Chowdhury, Director of CSIR-NML, emphasized science’s role in development and the day’s significance.

Dr. SK Pal, Chief Scientist of the RPBD Division, outlined current tech programs and CSIR-NML’s societal contributions.

Dr. Bhattacharjee stressed the importance of transforming ideas into enterprises, drawing on business models.

He elaborated on the Idea-Innovation-Enterprise framework and its significance for startups and sustainable growth.

He released the Annual Report for 2023-24, while Abhijit Nanoti of ISWP joined as a distinguished guest.

Over 120 students and faculty from various institutes actively participated in the celebrations.

Aditya Mainak, Administrative Officer of CSIR-NML, thanked all contributors, and the event ended with the National Anthem.
