JCAPCPL MD Ujjal Chakraborty Inaugurates Event, Lauds Society’s Humanitarian Efforts

The East Singhbhum branch of the Indian Red Cross Society commemorates World Red Cross Day by organizing a mega blood donation camp at the Red Cross Bhawan in Sakchi, Jamshedpur.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Indian Red Cross Society’s East Singhbhum branch marked World Red Cross Day with a large-scale blood donation camp at the Red Cross Bhawan in Sakchi, Jamshedpur.

The event was inaugurated by Ujjal Chakraborty, Managing Director of JCAPCPL, a Tata Steel Group company, who served as the chief guest.

In his inaugural speech, Chakraborty commended the Red Cross Society’s tireless efforts in providing aid to those in need.

He particularly praised the Society’s work in blood donation, combating blindness, and delivering nutritional support to tuberculosis patients in the East Singhbhum district of Jharkhand.

Bijay Kumar Singh, Hony Secretary of the Indian Red Cross Society, East Singhbhum, expressed gratitude to JCAPCPL for its generous support of the Society’s humanitarian initiatives.

Singh also acknowledged the ongoing assistance provided by other corporate entities and compassionate individuals in the city.

Notable attendees at the event included Arun Bankrewal and Vikas Singh, Patrons; Nalini Rammurthy, Secretary of the Jamshedpur Blood Centre; and Purabi Ghosh, a prominent social activist.

The blood donation camp aims to collect over 1500 units of blood, showcasing the community’s strong commitment to this life-saving cause.

The Indian Red Cross Society’s East Singhbhum branch remains dedicated to alleviating suffering and providing essential services to the underprivileged sections of society.

Events like the mega blood donation camp underscore the organization’s unwavering commitment to its humanitarian mission.
