District Election Officer Ananya Mittal Conducts Thorough Review of Urban Polling Facilities

In preparation for the upcoming elections, District Election Officer and East Singhbhum DM Ananya Mittal conducted a comprehensive review of the polling stations located in Jamshedpur’s urban areas, assessing the availability and current status of essential facilities.

JAMSHEDPUR – The District Election Officer of East Singhbhum, Ananya Mittal, recently carried out a meticulous inspection of the polling stations situated in the urban localities of Jamshedpur, focusing on the readiness and availability of crucial amenities.

Following the extensive evaluation, Mittal issued necessary directives to the municipal authorities responsible for overseeing the polling stations.

For those stations where restoration work on basic facilities is currently underway, the DM set a strict deadline of May 5 for the completion of all necessary arrangements.

The thorough review conducted by the District Election Officer aimed to ensure that voters in Jamshedpur’s urban areas have access to well-equipped and fully functional polling stations during the forthcoming elections.

By personally assessing the ground reality and providing clear instructions to the officials in charge, Mittal has taken proactive steps to guarantee a smooth and efficient voting process for the city’s residents.

Sources said the mandatory completion of all pending work by May 5 reflects the administration’s commitment to delivering a seamless electoral experience to the citizens of Jamshedpur.

They added that as the election date approaches, the District Election Office remains dedicated to overseeing the necessary preparations and ensuring that the polling stations in urban Jamshedpur are ready to facilitate the democratic exercise.
