Singhbhum Hosts Young Writers Program, Celebrates Hindi Literature

150 Students Engage in Creativity Workshop at Tulsi Bhawan

The Singhbhum District Hindi Sahitya Sammelan successfully hosted its annual Young Writers Program, drawing a significant turnout of students and literary enthusiasts to foster creativity and literature.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Young Writers Program, a staple initiative by the Singhbhum District Hindi Sahitya Sammelan, was held at Tulsi Bhawan under the leadership of Arun Kumar Tiwari, trustee of the institute.

The event, featuring around 150 students from 21 local schools, kicked off with the traditional lighting of the lamp.

Sessions throughout the day covered a range of literary disciplines, including poetry, storytelling, and journalism.

Notable city poet Sheshnath Singh ‘Sharad’ led the poetry session, with Divyendu Tripathi guiding the storytelling segment, and Sanjay Mishra, editor of ‘Prabhat Khabar’, overseeing the journalism discussion.

The workshop concluded with a session where students recited their own poems and received certificates for their participation; teachers were honored with garments and bouquets.

Prominent figures such as Chancellor Prabhakar Singh of Sona Devi University graced the event, underscoring its significance in promoting Hindi literature among the youth.
