Family and Police Respond to Suicide Incident in Ulidih, Investigation Underway
A distressing event unfolded in the Ulidih police station area of Jamshedpur, where 41-year-old Simran Kaur tragically ended her life.
JAMSHEDPUR – Simran Kaur, a resident of Neelkanth Apartment on Mango Dimna Road, was found deceased in her home after committing suicide by hanging on Thursday afternoon.
The incident, reportedly prompted by family-related issues, led to an immediate response from local authorities who have begun an investigation.
Family members discovered the situation when they were unable to open the locked door of her room. After breaking in, they found Kaur and quickly transported her to MGM Hospital.
Despite efforts to save her, doctors at MGM Hospital declared her deceased upon arrival.
Arush, her son, shared that his father, Surendra Singh, is currently working in Odisha, and his brother Aman Singh was at home during the incident.
Aman, who had briefly left the apartment to shop, returned to find the door locked and initially thought his mother was sleeping. After repeated attempts to gain entry went unanswered, they were forced to break down the door, leading to the grim discovery.
A post-mortem examination is scheduled for Friday to further investigate the circumstances of Simran Kaur’s death.
