Tata Steel UISL Champions Community Health with Successful Malaria Awareness Drive in Jamshedpur
Tata Steel Utilities and Infrastructure Services Limited (UISL) conducted an effective malaria awareness session on World Malaria Day in Jamshedpur, highlighting its commitment to community health and sustainable development.
JAMSHEDPUR – Tata Steel Utilities and Infrastructure Services Limited (UISL) recognized World Malaria Day with a dedicated awareness session aimed at educating the community on malaria prevention and control.
The session featured prominent local figures including Dr. Jujhar Majhi, Civil Surgeon of East Singhbhum, and Ritu Raj Sinha, Managing Director of Tata Steel UISL.
With 290 attendees, the event showcased the community’s proactive approach to combating malaria.
The initiative also featured Dr. A.K Mitra, District Malaria Officer, and Mr. Krishna Kumar, Deputy Municipal Commissioner, who discussed strategies for disease prevention and community protection.
Both leaders praised the community’s efforts and Tata Steel UISL’s role in fostering health awareness.
Mr. Krishna Kumar, appreciating the initiative, remarked, "It is heartening to see organizations like Tata Steel UISL taking proactive steps to address public health challenges. Together, we can make significant strides towards a malaria-free future."
