Driver Dozes Off, Causes Family Car to Crash in Rural Jamshedpur

A family of four suffered injuries in a car accident on Tata-Patamada road near Dhusra village, when their vehicle went off the road as the driver fell asleep.

JAMSHEDPUR – A car accident on the Tata-Patamada main road in the Patmada police station area resulted in injuries to a family of four.

The accident occurred early Tuesday morning near Dhusra village, close to the residence of PDS shopkeeper Mohan Mardi.

Eyewitnesses reported that the driver of the Alto car, returning with his family from a wedding procession in Dhanbad, fell asleep, losing control of the vehicle and crashing under a nearby culvert.

Fortunately, the car narrowly avoided colliding with a tree next to the culvert, preventing what could have been a more severe accident.

Local residents and students from a nearby school, drawn by the loud crash, rushed to assist the injured family members.

The family had traveled to Jamshedpur the previous night and was on their return journey to Dhanbad when the mishap occurred.
