Jamshedpur Family Honors Elderly Man’s Wish by Donating His Eyes
Nagin Das Mandya, an 84-year-old resident of Sonari Adarsh Nagar, has left a lasting legacy through the posthumous donation of his eyes, facilitated by the Marwari Mahila Manch.
JAMSHEDPUR – The community of Sonari Adarsh Nagar witnessed a profound act of generosity as the family of the late Nagin Das Mandya consented to donate his eyes, with the assistance of the Marwari Mahila Manch (MMM) of Jamshedpur.
The donation process was coordinated by MMM’s eye donation head, Sushila Khirwal, and member Lalit Saraiwala, supported by ophthalmologist Dr. Vivek Kedia and leaders from Roshni Sanstha.
This act of kindness was quickly organized following Nagin Das’s passing, highlighting the impact and importance of organ donation.
