JMM Fields Joba Majhi on Singhbhum Seat Against Geeta Koda

Vijay Hansda from Rajmahal, Suspense Continues on Jamshedpur Seat

The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) has unveiled its candidates for two key parliamentary seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, leaving the Jamshedpur seat still undecided.

RANCHI – The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), after a lot of mulling and brainstorming on different candidates on different Jharkhand seats, has officially declared its nominees for the Singhbhum and Rajmahal parliamentary seats for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections, with anticipation still surrounding its choice for the Jamshedpur constituency.

The announcement came through a list signed by the party’s Central General Secretary, Vinod Kumar Pandey, confirming Joba Majhi and Vijay Hansda as candidates for Singhbhum and Rajmahal, respectively.

Joba Majhi, poised to run for the Singhbhum seat, faces the challenge of contesting against the incumbent MP, Geeta Koda, who has been fielded by the BJP.

Majhi, a former minister and widow of the late Devendra Majhi, brings a significant political legacy to her candidacy.

Vijay Hansda, the current MP from Rajmahal and a member of JMM, will seek re-election, hoping to replicate his previous victory over BJP’s Hemlal Murmu.

As the party has yet to announce its candidate for the Jamshedpur parliamentary seat, speculation continues to mount over who will represent JMM in this crucial battleground.

The strategic disclosures underline JMM’s efforts to solidify its presence in Jharkhand’s political landscape, especially in key constituencies, as it navigates the complexities of electoral competition.
