Renowned Singer Kanwar Grewal Enthralls Audience with Soulful Performance

A grand cultural evening was organized at the spacious grounds of Sakchi Gurudwara in Jamshedpur on Saturday evening to celebrate Khalsa Sajna Day. The program, titled "Vaisakhi Di Sham Guru De Naal," was organized under the banner of Central Sikh Naujawan Sabha and featured a colorful array of performances.

JAMSHEDPUR – World-renowned singer Kanwar Grewal from Punjab expressed his delight upon seeing the Sangat (congregation) present at the program. He was particularly impressed by the turbans adorned on the heads of the youth and praised them for their dedication to the Sikh faith.

"The story started from one Punjab, and today, Punjab is settled everywhere. This is the immense grace of the Guru," Grewal remarked.

Grewal’s Mesmerizing Sufi Songs

Kanwar Grewal was welcomed on stage with the lighting of a cold fire, and he greeted the audience before commencing his captivating performance. He kept the audience enthralled with his Sufi songs until late into the night, with the crowd joining in to sing along to one of his famous tracks, "Sahamne baitha hove yaar, te milna penda he…"

Through his songs, such as "Japale Ram Nu, Dhayale Ram Nu…," "Jihne Duniya Pravyaat Kiti…," "Vekh Mardanya Rang Kartar De…," "Tikatan Do Lai Lee…," and "Khalsa Sada Azad Hai…," Grewal made the Sangat aware of the rich history of Sikhism and appealed to them to rise above casteism and recite "Ek Kartar" (One God).
