Kolhan University Sets New Date for 6th Convocation

Convocation Ceremony Rescheduled Amidst Previous Postponements

Kolhan University is all set for its sixth convocation ceremony, now planned for July, following two earlier postponements that had left students and faculty in anticipation. The much-awaited event, initially set for last year, faced delays due to scheduling conflicts and undisclosed reasons, challenging the university’s plans but not its spirit.

JAMSHEDPUR – Despite previous setbacks, the university is making extensive preparations to ensure the upcoming convocation is a success.

This marks the third attempt to hold the ceremony, with university authorities keen to provide a memorable experience for attendees.

The initial attempt to conduct the convocation last March was hindered by uncertainties in President Draupadi Murmu’s schedule, leading to the first postponement.

Subsequent plans to have the convocation on July 18, 2023, also faced delays, with the reasons not made public.

Efforts to invite President Draupadi Murmu as the chief guest for the first scheduled ceremony underscore the significance the university places on this event.

The then in-charge Vice Chancellor cum Commissioner of Kolhan, Manoj Kumar, had announced the rescheduled date, only for it to be postponed once more.

With the ceremony now on track for July, Kolhan University is dedicated to overcoming past challenges to celebrate the achievements of its students.
