Weather Pattern in Jharkhand Set to Change from Today, Yellow Alert

Rain Expected in Various Parts of the State until March 20

The weather pattern in Jharkhand is expected to undergo a change starting from Saturday, with the effects being visible in different parts of the state until March 20, according to the Meteorological Department, which has issued a yellow alert in this regard.

RANCHI – A cyclonic circulation forming in Bengal is likely to cause rain in many parts of Jharkhand, potentially leading to a drop in the maximum temperature, while no significant change is expected in the minimum temperature.

The weather center predicts light rain on March 16, with the possibility of light rain accompanied by thunder on March 16 and 17. From March 18 to 20, various parts of the state are expected to experience rain, particularly in the southern and adjacent central regions, including East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Simdega, and Seraikela, on March 18. Santal and Kolhan may witness rain on March 20.

Maximum Temperature May Drop by Four Degrees

With the maximum temperature in many districts of the state currently reaching 35 degrees Celsius, the expected rain and cloud cover could lead to a drop of up to four degrees Celsius. The weather center estimates that Ranchi’s maximum temperature may remain between 27-29 degrees, a decrease from the current maximum of around 33 degrees Celsius.
