Rs 28 lakh earmarked for educational and infrastructural upgrades
MLA Saryu Roy channels Rs 28 lakh into local development schemes, focusing on education and infrastructure in Jamshedpur East.
JAMSHEDPUR – MLA Shri Saryu Roy has committed approximately Rs 28 lakh towards the development of educational facilities and infrastructure improvements within the Jamshedpur East Assembly Constituency, marking a significant step towards community enhancement.
The foundation stone for a series of development projects was recently laid, signifying the start of notable improvements.
Key among these is the allocation of Rs 20 lakh from the District Mineral Foundation Trust for the construction of two new classrooms at Bagun Nagar Primary School.
Additionally, around Rs 7.8 lakh from the MLA scheme will support the installation of paver blocks in several areas, including Baridih Basti, Teachers Colony, and Vinoba Road.
A road construction project is also underway, extending from the vicinity of Tara Apartment in Sidhgora, Bagan area to Krishna Road.
During the foundation stone laying ceremony, Roy stated, "This investment underscores our commitment to fostering a conducive environment for education and community living."
The event saw participation from key community figures such as Sudhir Singh and Vijay Narayan Singh, alongside enthusiastic school students.
This initiative is a testament to the concerted efforts being made to elevate the quality of life and educational standards within the constituency.
