JAMSHEDPUR – A remarkable event unfolded at Sakchi police station in Jamshedpur, where the local police reunited 351 people with their lost mobile phones.

This function, attended by high-ranking officials including SSP Kishore Kaushal, City SP Mukesh Lunayat, and Rural SP Rishabh Garg, showcased the effective and proactive policing in the city.

DSP CCR Animesh Gupta and various in-charge officers from the urban area were also present to witness this moment of relief and joy among the phone owners.

SSP Kishore Kaushal, in his address, commended the team’s efforts and reaffirmed the police’s commitment to serving the community.

This event not only provided tangible relief to those who had lost hope of retrieving their devices but also highlighted the Jamshedpur Police’s dedication to resolving public issues.

A significant step in this initiative was the introduction of a convenient method for reporting lost mobile phones.

Citizens are encouraged to save the number 9006123444 on their devices and provide necessary details through a Google form, simplifying the process of reporting and recovering lost phones.

This system reflects the police department’s innovative approach to addressing everyday challenges faced by the public.

The successful recovery and distribution of such a large number of phones is a testament to the department’s efficiency and commitment to community welfare.
