Sardar Shailendra Singh Receives Prestigious ‘Pride of Jharkhand’ Award for Community Service
Sardar Shailendra Singh’s recognition as ‘Pride of Jharkhand’ at CGPC Central Diwan highlights his exceptional service to the Sikh community and society, further celebrated by a special ceremony in Jamshedpur.
JAMSHEDPUR – Sardar Shailendra Singh, a distinguished member of the Sikh community, has been bestowed the ‘Pride of Jharkhand’ honor at the Central Diwan of the CGPC for his unwavering dedication to society.
This special recognition follows his receipt of the Atal Tiranga Samman in Delhi, acknowledging his national contribution.
The ceremony in Jamshedpur also celebrated various individuals and groups for their service during the 357th Prakash Parv Nagar Kirtan.
City Superintendent of Police, Mukesh Kumar Lunayat, and CGPC leaders Sardar Bhagwan Singh and Gurmeet Singh Tote jointly felicitated Singh.
SP Lunayat commended the Sikh community of Jamshedpur for their efficient and disciplined event organization, particularly noting the impressive conduct of the city kirtan.
CGPC President Bhagwan Singh acknowledged the collective efforts that led to a successful Nagar Kirtan, attributing the success to the devotees and committees involved.
Sardar Shailendra Singh, expressing his gratitude, pledged to continue his service to the community.
The event also featured a spiritual session with Ragi Gurpreet Singh Nikku and Sujit Singh, Gurmeet Singh and his group.
The prize distribution recognized various individuals and groups, including Taranpreet Singh Banni and Joginder Singh Jogi, for their services during the Nagar Kirtan.
Schools and religious groups participating in the Nagar Kirtan were also honored.
Notables such as Amarjeet Singh, Bhagwan Singh, Nishan Singh, Narendrapal Singh, and others played key roles in the event’s success.
