Vocational Seminar at Jamshedpur College Highlights AI Job Opportunities

Jamshedpur Workers College’s seminar on AI careers explores future job prospects, with IIM-Kolkata alum and strategic director Kiran Kurwade as keynote speaker.

JAMSHEDPUR -The Vocational Department of Jamshedpur Workers College recently hosted a significant seminar, focusing on the evolving career opportunities in the artificial intelligence (AI) sector.

IIM-Kolkata alumnus and Chitkara University’s Strategic Director, Kiran Kurwade, led the seminar as the keynote speaker.

His vast 30-year corporate experience provided invaluable insights into the AI industry’s job market.

The event saw enthusiastic participation from about 100 students across various college faculties, all keen to understand AI’s impact on future job landscapes.

The seminar acted as a platform for vibrant discussions about AI-related career options in multiple sectors.

This event also marked the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Jamshedpur Workers College and Chitkara University, promising enriching exchange programs for students.

The college’s Principal, along with other esteemed guests, initiated the seminar through a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony.

Prominent attendees included the college Principal Dr. S.P. Mahalik, Dr. P.K. Paani, Dr. Anil Chandra Pathak, and Shri Sumit ji.

Faculty members from the Vocational Department, such as Prof. Vivek Kumar Singh, Prof. Sandeep Kumar, Prof. Somnath Pariya, Prof. Kashish Kumar, and Prof. Amar Nath Singh, significantly contributed to the seminar’s success.

The event concluded with Prof. Amar Nath Singh extending a vote of thanks, underscoring the seminar’s importance in guiding students towards AI-based career paths.
