Parsudih Celebrates Constitutional Knowledge with Tribal Leaders and Villagers
On Constitution Day in Jamshedpur, a rally and dialogue session at Parsudih underlined the significance of constitutional awareness, featuring tribal leaders and villagers.
JAMSHEDPUR – In a significant display of civic engagement, tribal self-governance leaders and villagers celebrated Constitution Day with an awareness program at Parsudih Haludbani Sidhu-Kanhu Chowk Lohia Bhawan complex.
The event, organized in collaboration with the Moolvasi Sangh, focused on educating the community about the Constitution.
Hundreds of participants marched from Kanhu Chowk to Triveni Chowk, showcasing their respect for Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar and other esteemed figures through garlands and flowers.
Placards emphasizing constitutional themes, the national flag, and festive bells and whistles added to the march’s vibrancy.
The procession traversed various areas, eventually converging at Lohia Bhawan in the Haludbani area for a dialogue session.
The session aimed to highlight the importance and goals of the program to the gathered villagers and guests.
Mithilesh Rajak, representing Moolvasi Sangh, delivered a keynote address on the vital role of the Constitution in informing citizens about their rights and entitlements.
Social activist Jaipal Sirka discussed the relevance of the Constitution to rural and tribal welfare, particularly focusing on the Paisa Act and its potential benefits.
Additional perspectives were provided by speakers Naresh Das, Ranjit Baske, and Ashok Kumar, who shared their views on various constitutional aspects.
The event commenced with a collective singing of the Constitution song and an oath-taking ceremony led by Shri Harinath Kumar.
Chief Ms. Suman Sirka took the honor of reading the Constitution’s preamble.
The proceedings were overseen by Munda Nepa Gagrai, with Munda Ramchandra Tiu welcoming the attendees and Nimai Hembram delivering the vote of thanks.
Notable participants included Dhatu Hembram, Captain Purti, Sangi Biruli, Lakhi Charan Hembram, Heto Purti, Samu Hembram, Khudiram Hembram, Dhamu Purti, Khatri Sirka, Panchayat Sas, Deputy Chief Usha Singh, ward members Rajesh Gupta, Sini Hembram, members of the Native Association, and a large turnout of villagers.
