Awareness Rally Held on Eve of World Population Day in Jamshedpur

Civil Surgeon flags off rally to promote family planning.

An awareness rally was held at Sadar Hospital in Jamshedpur on Wednesday, ahead of World Population Day, to promote family planning.

JAMSHEDPUR – Sadar Hospital hosted an awareness rally to emphasize the value of family planning on the eve of World Population Day.

Dr. Yogeshwar Prasad, the ACMO, and Dr. Jujhar Manjhi, the civil surgeon, officially opened the rally.

The march began at Sadar Hospital and went to Karandih Chowk, with students from the ANM School taking part.

Participants educated the public about family planning along the way.

Teachers from the ANM School participated in the event, along with a number of representatives and employees from Sadar Hospital and the office of the Civil Surgeon.

"Our goal is to educate the community about the benefits of family planning," remarked a staff member.

Sadar Hospital will commemorate World Population Day on Thursday and give participants with comprehensive family planning information.
