JAMSHEDPUR – The Mango Municipal Corporation launched a comprehensive campaign aimed at preventing dengue.
Directed by Executive Officer Suresh Yadav, the campaign emphasized spreading awareness about dengue prevention through announcements at various locations.
The Health Department and Municipal Corporation teams jointly conducted the campaign, highlighting the importance of public cooperation.
Dengue larvae were inspected in different areas within the Municipal Corporation’s jurisdiction, with action taken and fines imposed on those found responsible for dengue larvae or water-logging.
A total of Rs 11,000 in fines was collected during this proactive drive.
Citizens were warned against littering and collecting water, reinforcing the significance of community involvement in preventing the spread of dengue.
