Tata Steel’s CSR Takes Gamharia Kids to Zoo

World Humanitarian Day: Tata Steel Educates Rural Children at Zoological Park

On World Humanitarian Day, Tata Steel’s CSR initiative hosted an educational tour for 38 disadvantaged children and their parents from Gamharia at the Tata Steel Zoological Park.

JAMSHEDPUR – The event allowed the children to explore the zoo and its museum, where they learned about various animal species, ecosystems, and the importance of conservation.

The Zoological Park, home to deer, bears, monkeys, birds, tigers, and lions, proved to be an eye-opener for the rural youngsters.

Education on nature and wildlife was at the forefront, and the museum curator was present to answer children’s questions regarding animal behaviors and environments.

The New Jhurkuli School’s principal expressed gratitude to Tata Steel for offering this unique opportunity.

Tata Steel ensured a comfortable experience by providing transportation, lunch packs, cooled drinks, and water for both children and adults.
