India’s 77th Independence Day Marked by Vibrant Celebration at DAV School

DAV Public School Bistupur Jamshedpur celebrates 77th Independence Day with vibrant cultural programmes, patriotic speeches, and affirmations of unity and progress.

JAMSHEDPUR – The 77th Independence Day of India was celebrated in DAV Public School Bistupur Jamshedpur with usual fervour and the spirit of harmony.

The ceremony was attended by a number of students, parents and teachers.

The Principal, Mrs Pragya Singh, hoisted the tricolour, which was followed by singing of the National Anthem and March Past by the students of Class IX and Scouts & Guides.

The campus was filled with an aura of patriotism as the students beautifully showcased their talents and dedication with some colourful and vibrant cultural programme.

The speeches by Arushi, Subhi and Ashi ignited a spark amongst the students and the audience as they reiterated the message — ‘The Nation comes above all‘.

The other limelight of the day was Dance on ‘Mere Pyare Hindustan‘ and the dance performance by the little children of std I and II.

The undeterred feelings of patriotism continued with an Instrumental Music followed by another dance on the song ‘Chal chal chal and a beautiful song by the choir group.

In her address, the Principal noted that India, as a nascent democracy, had traversed through odds to bring development, peace, security and prosperity not only to its people but for the world.

Today, India is an indispensable part of the solutions to global challenges.

She underscored that India is working to launch MAYA – Ubantu based with the new Operating system which will be backed up by a protection system called Chakravyuh.

Education is the new rich and also the road to sustainable development.

Sustainable development will be achieved with quality education that will help in eradicating poverty and promoting gender equality.

Fostering sustainable development will enhance economic growth with lots of work opportunities.

Research, innovation and technology are important for sustainable growth.

She briefed the audience about 17 Sustainable Development Goals towards which our nation is working.

The Principal also appreciated the anchors saying that they added flavour to the announcement.

The programme concluded with the vote of thanks which was proposed by the Supervisory Head, Mr. Nawin Kumar.

He expressed his gratitude towards the staff, students, parents of the school.
