Truck Driver Dies in Head-on Collision on Tata-Hata Road

Tragic accident on Tata-Hata road leaves one truck driver dead and a major crash investigated by Potka police.

JAMSHEDPUR – Near Turi, a devastating collision between two trucks resulted in the death of one of the drivers. Both trucks, one heading from Hata to Jamshedpur and the other from Jamshedpur to Hata, crashed head-on early on Thursday, according to Vinod Tudu, who is in command of Potka police station.

The kin of the deceased, who was a native of Bihar’s Gaya district, have been notified by the police and have left for Jamshedpur.

The remains have been placed at the MGM Hospital morgue.

The victim was taken to MGM Hospital after the police, responding to the locals’ report, laboriously worked for three hours to extract him from the wreckage.

Tragically, the man succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.

The incident, which occurred around 5 a.m. on Thursday on the major Tata-Hata road near Turi, under the Potka police station, led to the driver getting trapped inside his vehicle due to the force of the crash.
