Uncontrolled Truck Collides with Tree on Chakulia-Matihana Road, Bulls Narrowly Escape

Villagers demand ban on heavy goods vehicles, express anger towards local administration and public representatives

JAMSHEDPUR – An uncontrolled truck collided with a tree near Lodhasholi village on the Chakulia-Matihana main road on Thursday morning, narrowly missing pedestrians and two bulls tied outside a nearby house.

The accident occurred close to Dharani Kant Gop’s residence, situated near Lodhasholi High School.

Two bulls tethered outside Mr. Gop’s house came under the truck during the incident but were fortunately pulled to safety by villagers.

Eyewitnesses suggest that the driver may have fallen asleep at the wheel, causing the truck to veer out of control and crash into the tree.

The incident has sparked anger among the local residents, who claim that such accidents are becoming a daily occurrence on this particular road.

Villagers have been demanding a ban on the movement of heavy goods vehicles along this route, but their pleas have allegedly gone unheard by the authorities.

The continued presence of dozens of heavy goods vehicles on the road every day has further fueled the residents’ frustration with the local administration and public representatives.

The villagers assert that the failure to address their concerns and implement necessary measures to ensure road safety has led to a growing sense of resentment within the community.

The accident has once again highlighted the need for stricter regulation of heavy vehicle movement and improved road safety measures in the area.

Local authorities are yet to comment on the incident or respond to the villagers’ demands for a ban on heavy goods vehicles on the Chakulia-Matihana main road.

The narrow escape of the pedestrians and the bulls has served as a stark reminder of the potential dangers posed by unregulated heavy vehicle movement on village roads.
