FIR Filed Against Four in Connection with Amarnath’s Murder in Dumka

Following the murder of 40-year-old feared mobster Amarnath Singh, police have filed an FIR against four individuals while the investigation continues.

JAMSHEDPUR – In a recent development in the murder case of Amarnath Singh, a 40-year-old resident of Krishna Nagar, Mango Gaur Basti, Jamshedpur, the police have lodged an FIR at the Jarmundi police station against four individuals.

Named in the FIR are Mango residents Ganesh Singh, Raja Sharma, Deepak Kumar Chaudhary, and Uttam Mahto. More suspects have also been identified in the case.

The deceased’s brother alleges that Ganesh Singh and his goons are responsible for Amarnath’s death.

Meanwhile, Deoghar police have detained four individuals who accompanied Amarnath Singh to Babadham in Deoghar for questioning.

There are five witnesses in the murder case of Amarnath Singh, and authorities have secured CCTV footage showing the commission of the crime.

It’s worth noting that Amarnath Singh, who had been implicated in about 30 criminal cases, was shot dead outside a temple in Jharkhand’s Dumka district by men posing as “kanwariyas”.

According to Dumka’s Superintendent of Police (SP) Amber Lakra, the incident, which occurred near Nandi Chowk at 12.45 am, appears to be a result of gang rivalry. The majority of the criminal charges against Singh were active in Jamshedpur.

Six members of Singh’s gang were apprehended almost simultaneously in East Singhbhum district during a police encounter.
