In a shocking incident in Parsudih, Jamshedpur, a man named Premchand Patro brutally beat his wife Poonam to death during a family feud.
JAMSHEDPUR – A tragic event unfolded in Khakharipada under Parsudih police station of Jamshedpur, sparking panic among locals.
Premchand Patro, in a fit of rage during a family dispute, brutally beat his wife Poonam to death.
Both Premchand and Poonam, originally from Jaduguda, were living in a rented house in Parsudih Khakhadi Pada.
The couple, who had married for love, were daily wage workers.
Ramkumar Verma, station in-charge of Parsudih police station, reported that the incident happened on Monday afternoon when the couple was drinking alcohol.
A sudden argument escalated into violence, with Premchand brutally attacking Poonam.
The severe beating resulted in the untimely and tragic death of 42-year-old Poonam.
Upon receiving information about the incident, police arrived at the scene and transported the body for postmortem.
Police also arrested Premchand and brought him to the station, where they retrieved the cylinder used in the attack.
Premchand was later sent to judicial custody.
