CA Final and Intermediate Results Announced, Jamshedpur Celebrates Success

ICAI releases CA Final and Intermediate results, highlighting Jamshedpur students’ stellar performance in the May 2023 examinations.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) on July 5 released the results for the Chartered Accountants (CA) final and intermediate examinations held in May 2023.

Stellar Performance at Jamshedpur Branch

A total of 240 students appeared for the final exam from the Jamshedpur Branch, with 68 students clearing the CA exam.

Swastika Chetani emerged as the city topper.

Simultaneously, 39 out of several students who appeared for either the first or second group (CA final) also passed.

CA Intermediate Exam Results

In the CA Intermediate examination, 359 students from the Jamshedpur branch attempted the exam.

Of these, 73 cleared the exam and are now set to take on the CA Final.

From those who appeared for the first and second groups, a total of 52 students were successful.

Words of Encouragement

CA Ankita Agarwal, Branch Chairperson of the Jamshedpur chapter of ICAI, congratulated the successful students and encouraged those who did not pass this time to strive harder in their next attempt.

Nationwide Results

Across the country, a total of 57,067 candidates appeared for the Group 1 exam and 61,844 for Group 2 in the CA final exam.

Of these, 6,795 (11.91%) cleared Group 1 and 19,438 (31.43%) cleared Group 2.

A total of 8.33 percent candidates passed both groups of the final CA exams, with 2,152 of 25,841 candidates passing.

Overall, 13,430 candidates across India are now qualified Chartered Accountants.

Jain Akshay Ramesh secured All India Rank 1 in the CA Final result declared today, with a stellar score of 616 out of 800.
