Three young men on a bike were struck by an unidentified vehicle in East Singhbhum district, resulting in one death and two serious injuries.
JAMSHEDPUR – Tragedy struck near Haldipokhar railway station under Kowali police station in East Singhbhum district when an unidentified vehicle struck three youths riding a bike.
Sadly, one of these young men succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
The deceased has been identified as Phoolchand.
His companions, Raju and Karthik, sustained serious injuries in the accident and their condition remains critical.
All three are reported to be residents of Dangardih, under the jurisdiction of the Rajnagar block in Seraikela.
According to information gathered at the scene, the three young men were returning from Haldipokhar to Dangardih when the accident occurred.
Currently, the injured youths are receiving medical attention.
However, their ordeal was compounded by poor facilities at the notorious MGM Hospital, which lacks even basic resources like stretchers.
In a harrowing scene, the injured victims had to be carried on chairs for treatment.
