Jamshedpur’s Sacred Heart Convent School recognises academic and co-curricular achievements in annual award ceremony.
JAMSHEDPUR – At the annual prize distribution function of Sacred Heart Convent School, Jamshedpur, Chief Guest Mamta Priyadarshi praised the impressive array of talent displayed by the students.
Her observations echoed the sentiments of Principal Sister Rashmita A.C., who lauded the students’ dedication to learning and active involvement in the school community.
The annual awards ceremony, which took place on Wednesday, acknowledged the scholastic and co-scholastic accomplishments of the students in the ICSE and ISC exams.
Special recognition was given to the top achievers across different streams and age groups.
Notably, Snehal Rai scored 99%, earning him the Ram Awtar Chachra Memorial Trophy for the highest marks in ICSE.
Meanwhile, in the ISC section, the highest percentage was claimed by Priyanshi Doshi, who scored 97.75%, receiving the Indira Patnaik Memorial Trophy.
Priyanshi also bagged the Sampooran Singh Trophy for her outstanding performance in the Commerce stream, while Ananya Paul scored 97.5% in the Arts stream and was awarded the Chandrashekar Trophy.
Aakhya Sinha and Snigdha Bhowany were rewarded for their top scores in the Science stream, each taking home the Leoperiera Trophy.
Primary section awardees included Aaradhya Choudhary, recognised as the Best Carmel Girl, and Akchada Sharma, who received the Best Outgoing Primary Student Award.
Middle school students Shreyashi Mukherjee and Veera Pathak were honoured with the Ubaldo Gomes Memorial Trophy.
Adrita Nag and Aashi Agarwal took home the Leadership Award for Std 6, in memory of Asha Lata Sinha.
Besides the awards distribution, the event comprised various performances, including a song by the High School Choir and a choral recitation by the Middle School.
Students of Class XII led a prayer service, and the Primary Department students performed a prayer dance to seek divine blessings.
The entire event was marked by the presence of proud parents and dedicated school staff who facilitated the smooth functioning of the program.
The function started with the presentation of bouquets and the ceremonial lighting of the lamp.
