Jamshedpur – The fifth edition of Johar Haat, a weeklong celebration of tribal art, craft, cuisine, and culture, is set to conclude tomorrow.

The event, organized by the Tata Steel Foundation, kicked off on May 14, 2023, at Prakriti Vihar in Kadma.

Johar Haat was devised to offer a dedicated space to showcase the diverse artistry of tribes from across India through monthly week-long exhibitions.

The current edition witnessed the participation of 21 artisans from Jharkhand, West Bengal, and Assam, representing four distinct tribal groups – Sabar, Santhal, Munda, and Bodo.

This iteration of Johar Haat, themed “Summer Weaves,” featured eight distinct stalls put up by various organizations and social entrepreneurs hailing from the three aforementioned states.
