High-Speed Hyva Collision Results in Tragic Family Loss in Chatra

A high-speed Hyva crash in Chatra resulted in the death of two family members and injuries to six others, causing a somber atmosphere in the local community.

Ranchi – A tragic accident unfolded in Chatra when a high-speed Hyva vehicle collided with a family’s transport, resulting in the death of two individuals and seriously injuring six others.

The incident reportedly involved eight members of the same family, returning home from a recent wedding event.

The deceased, a husband and wife, hailed from Fusari village in the Keredari police station area of Hazaribagh district.

They had recently celebrated their daughter’s wedding in Paseri village in the Simariya police station area.

The family, including the newlywed bride, was en route home when the accident occurred in Piri forest.

The Hyva, coming from the opposite direction, collided head-on with their vehicle, causing extensive damage and immediate fatalities.

The deceased have been identified as Manu Oraon and Karni Kachhap.

The injured, some of them in critical condition, were rushed to Simariya Referral Hospital.

Two of the severely injured were later referred to Hazaribagh Medical College for advanced treatment.

Upon receiving the news, officials from Simariya police station and Sheela OP police arrived at the scene, transferring the deceased to Sadar Hospital Chatra for postmortem proceedings.
