BJP Leader Abhay Singh’s Arrest Sparks Criticism, Demands for High-Level Investigation

JAMSHEDPUR – The Jharkhand Kshatriya Sangh on Saturday held a meeting at the residence of BJP leader Abhay Singh, questioning the district administration’s response to the Shastri Nagar violence and subsequent arrests, including that of Abhay Singh himself. The Sangh criticized the district administration, Tata Steel, and the state health minister Banna Gupta for their inept handling of the situation.

The violence in Shastri Nagar was sparked under the jurisdiction of the Kadma police station over an alleged desecration of Ram Navami flag, sparking tension in the area.

BJP leader Abhay Singh was arrested and jailed for alleged ‘provocative messaging’ related to the incident.

The Jharkhand Kshatriya Sangh has since raised questions about the efficiency of the district administration, Tata Steel, and Health Minister Banna Gupta in the matter.

Shambhu Singh, a representative of the Jharkhand Kshatriya Sangh, argued that the Ram Navami festival had passed peacefully and questioned why the Shastri Nagar area suddenly experienced unrest.

Singh further claimed that Abhay Singh and others were falsely implicated in the matter, suggesting that the district administration did not handle the situation properly.
