BJP’s Gunjan Yadav condemns Congress workers’ behaviour

Congress workers should have met Jamshedpur MP instead of interrupting press conference

Jamshedpur: Gunjan Yadav, the Jamshedpur Mahanagar President of BJP, on Sunday denounced the protest by Congressmen outside MP Bidyut Baran Mahato’s office.

He called the Congress workers’ protest as a ploy to buy popularity.

He added that some Congressmen showed up to interrupt a news conference that was being conducted at the MP’s home to discuss various facets of the Union Budget.

Gunjan Yadav said that citizens in democracies had the right to protest, but he emphasized that none of the institutions in charge of preserving democracy—the MP’s office, the district government, or the media—were aware of the Congress’ planned protest outside the MP’s office at Bistupur.

Instead of interfering with the news conference, he recommended that the Congress workers approach MP Bidyut Mahato and express their concerns.

Gunjan Yadav further condemned the Congressmen for using derogatory language during the demonstration towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi and MP Bidyut Baran Mahato.

He said that this sort of conduct would prove to be the final straw for Congress.
