Jamshedpur: A sudden fire broke out in a house due to gas leak from a cooking gas cylinder in a Basti situated near D Road Naulakha Apartment. The basti falls under the jurisdiction of Sonari police station of Jamshedpur.
The fire was brought under control with the help of locals and the family members of the household. However, a youth got burnt in the ensuing fire.
The injured youth was given first aid on the spot with the help of local people.
Thanks to prompt action by the family members and the locals, no major loss of property or life was caused in the mishap.
The information about that incident has been sent to the concerneed gas agency for follow up action.
