Police solve Beauty Parlour Owner murder case, one arrested

Jamshedpur police have solved the mystery behind the murder of a beauty parlour owner in Burmamines and arrested one person. Beauty parlour owner’s dead body was found in the parlour.

Jamshedpur: The city police have solved the mystery behind the murder of beauty parlour owner in Burmamines and have arrested one person in the case. The dead body of the beauty parlour owner was found on September 20 in the parlour.

The Burmamines police had filed a case no. 129/21 on September 20, 2021 under sections 302, 120B, and 34 of IPC.

The police have arrested one R Mukhi of Harijan Basti. The accused is 40 years old.

The arrested accused is a resident of Cable Harijan Basti under the jurisdiction of Golmuri police station.

The accused has admitted to his involvement in the case.

The SSP Dr. M Tamil Vanan today told the media that the age of the accused is 40-years old.

In the press conference, City SP Subhash Chandra Jat said that the accused R Mukhi had gone to the parlour in an inebriated condition.

He had tried to molest the beauty parlour owner and when the latter resisted he strangled her to death.

The police also recovered a mobile and Rs 200 in cash from the possession of the accused.

A few persons were rounded up by the police on the grounds of suspicion. However, they have now been released.

The SSP said that the post mortem would reveal more details about the case.

The SSP also added that the accused has admitted to his involvement in the case.

The City SP S C Jat was also present in the press conference.
