Traffic Police Take Action Against Roadside Parking

Jamshedpur: The city traffic police are taking stringent action against the vehicle owners who park their cars on the roadside or in no parking zones. On Thursday, action was taken by the traffic police on dozens of vehicles parked on the main road in front of the Deputy Commissioner’s office.

During this No Parking slips were stuck on the defaulting cars.

During the drive, ASI Shyamsunder Paswan of Bistupur Traffic Police said that in different areas of the city, vehicles are parked on the side of the road by citizens. As a result, traffic jams are frequently caused.

He said that at present, action is being taken against the vehicles parked on the main road in front of the Deputy Commissioner’s office.

Rs. 1000 thousand fine for parking wrongly is being collected from all the defaulting vehicle owners. But if they are unable to show other documents, the fine amount may increase.
