Jamshedpur: Six children from different districts of Jharkhand, along with their parents, were sent to Satya Sanjeevani Heart Hospital, Raipur on Wednesday. They were sent to Raipur on 108 ambulances at the initiative of Jharkhand government.
These children will undergo heart procedure in the hospital for free.
The facility of free treatment of children suffering from heart diseases is being provided by the state government level in the state by signing as a part of an MoU between Sanjeevani Heart Hospital and the government of Jharkhand government.
On Wednesday, 6 children from the districts of Jamshedpur, Ranchi, Dhanbad and Dumka were sent to Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Hospital in Raipur.
These children are suffering from severe heart disease.
Giving details about this, Dr Maheshwari Prasad said that children of different districts of Jharkhand are getting full benefits of this scheme.
Jharkhand government is playing an important role in this. Apart from this, 108 ambulances are also being used in this task.
Before sending 6 children and their parents from District Leprosy Hospital located at Sakchi Jail Chowk, everyone prayed to God for the safe return of the children.
Rajeev Mishra, a resident of Dumka, said that on the initiative of the government, children are going to Raipur for heart operation.
Thanking the government, he said his son has a congenital heart issue. He had no no money for his son’s treatment, but today the Jharkhand government is sending him and his son to Raipur for free operation.
He thanked the government of Hemant Soren for this.
