Jamshedpur: Three miscreants fired two shots at one Pintu Yadav of Sonari Gwala Basti near Circuit House under the jurisdiction of Bistupur police station creating a sensation in the area. They managed to escape after firing. The bullet, however, missed the person targeted by the miscreants. The miscreants were riding Hero Honda Splendour motorcycle.
Soon after the incident, the City SP Subhash Chandra Jat and Bistupur Officer-in-charge arrived at the police and started the investigations.
Pintu Yadav told the police that 3 bike-borne youths had fired two bullets a him. He reportedly also identified and named two of them. He said that he lives in Sonari New Gwala Basti, while the two accused live in Kadma. He alleged that the two youths who fired at him have criminal antecedents.
He said that the accused had a dispute with his friends. However, he said, he had no dispute with them.
The City SP said that the accused would soon be arrested. He said that CCTV footages are being examined and the accused have been identified.
The firing incident has caused quite a sensation in the area.
