CITU demonstrates against farm and labour laws

Jamshedpur: Members of CITU took out a protest rally against new labour laws, farm laws and privatisation initiatives taken by the union government. The protestors shouted slogans against farm laws and labour laws and shouted slogans against the union government.

A number of members of CITU assembled at Subash Maidan in Jamshedpur and held a demonstration against the alleged faulty policies of the central government. The protestors shouted slogans against the new farm and labour laws and said that the union government is trying to privatise most of the government institutions and is working to deprive workers.

They said that the farm laws would benefit the capitalists while deprive the farmers of their rights.

Biswajit Dev, general secretary, Kolhan, CITU said that the union government is trying to make the entire country a slave again and said that CITU is organising country-wide protest to oppose the policies of the central government.
